Journey Highlights

rainbow-paieThe Magic of the Dolphins

We will be taking a private boat out to meet the wild but very friendly dolphins where we perform traditional Hawaiian chants to call our friend of the ocean. We then spend three hours swimming with them.  These dolphins are wild and free and swimming with them in their natural habitat is a unique and magical experience that can touch your soul and melt your heart.  (You don’t have to be a real swimmer to enjoy this experience to its fullest but you do have to like warm, tropical water!)

Sacred Sites

We will be visiting several sacred sites during our stay, including the "Place of Refuge" which dates back to Lemuria based on the incredible mana or energy that is present there.   The Hawaiian islands were the mountain peaks of Lemuria or Mu that is the original land mass upon which human souls took physical form.  Lemuria pre-dates Atlantis although they also existed side by side for many millenium.   Lemuria was the continent in the Pacific Ocean and Atlantis was the continent in the Atlantic Ocean.

Aloha Wisdom Classes

ponds-classWe will join Aunty to learn about Ho’ opono Pono and the essence of Hawaiian Spirituality (pono is to be fully present in the moment).  Aunty will bring forth new teachings from the Na Kupunas who communicate through her.  The Na Kupunas are Aunty’s ancestors and her own spiritual teachers.   Aunty was recently asked to bring new teachings through because of the need to accelerate our awareness and help us navigate smoothly and easily through the dramatic changes ahead.

12-12-12 Alignment

On 12 December 2012, we will be holding a special alignment ceremony with the local community that will include a group meditation, ceremony and collective meal where you will have an opportunity to meet many of the amazing locals that have chosen to live on the Big Island.

Daily Meditations

The tour includes daily guided and silent meditations and, for those who do not have their own meditation technique, instruction will be given in several different universal non-religious but deeply spiritual techniques. In addition to the daily group meditations, there will be plenty of time for your own personal contemplation and reflections.

Volcanic Warm Ponds

The warm ponds of Pune or Aunty’s “office” is located ocean side and consists of warm waters heated by volcanic fissures.  We will take regular morning visits to the ponds to soak up the relaxing and therapeutic effects of the water to let go and unwind.

The Living Fire Goddess

Pele is the goddess of fire, lightening, dance and volcanoes.  Her poetic name, Ka wahine ‘ai honua means the woman who devours the land, is both creator and destroyer. We will see her up close and personal as we watch her lava and steam venting on the mountain of Kilauea.  We perform offerings and pay homage to Pele and perhaps for the first time in your life you will have a direct and personal experience Mother Earth.

Hula Spirit Workshop

hula-dancers

The hula is fun, lively, sacred, light-hearted, and even satirical, solemn and ritualistic, and what determines the differences is the purpose for which it is danced. it is a great pleasure to be able to share the wonders and beauty of the hula. It is a most joyful and spiritual expression of Hawaii, its' land and its' people.  There was no written language in Hawaii so the stories were passed down through the hula.  Kumu Hula Neaulani Kuamo'o-Pec is a recognized kumu or teacher of Hula.  In her afternoon workshop, she will teach us the basics of hula and chant.  You will learn basic hula and a chant that asks for blessings from above.

Volcano National Park

We will explore the Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park, where we will admire genuine Hawaiian rainforests with cascading waterfalls, walk beside the gaping hale’mau’mau crater, go inside an actual lava tube, and watch eerie steam vents.

Hawaiian Farmer’s Markets

Wander through the Hilo township and markets and encounter beautiful handcrafts and foods from Hawaii's blended cultures.  Hilo is the main township on the east side of the island and one of the reasons why the Big Island retains a genuine, traditional Hawaiian feel.

Watsu Lomi & Traditional Lomi Lomi

Sylvia and Paie will be on hand to offer their distinct bodywork treatments. Watsui lomi treatments are done in the water.  Both Paie and Sylvia will be available by appointment.  Treatments are not included in the tour fee.
